The Seattle Aquarium will open its new expansion on Friday June 22nd. The highlights of the new facility will be a 120,000 gallon Neah Bay habitat and a dramatic wave pool demonstrating the adaptive nature of coastal creatures.
Also included in the expansion is the event facilities that have become an absolute necessity for the modern aquarium and a much needed enhancement to the pier that serves as the aquarium's foundation.
