After writing about it for several months I can now announce that two more sharks have been placed on Display at the Georgia Aquarium. The two male sharks have been named Taroko and Yushan (No more honeymooners references :)). Given the recent restrictions placed on the species by the Taiwanese government these are expected to be the final two sharks placed on display from Taiwan's waters. There is a possibility that sharks may be harvested in the future from other localities.
The Ocean Voyager tank was designed to accomodate 6 of these fish; 5 are currently on display. The aquarium announced that it has no plans to add another specimen.
There is currently an aquarium under construction in Niagara Falls CA with an expressed interest in displaying these animals. It is unknown whether they will be made available.
