We decided that there are no problems with their experience and techniques" in handling the whale sharks, Zhuang told the Atlanta newspaper. Zhuang, an associate professor at National Taiwan Ocean University, said the two whale sharks would probably be exported to the United States in June. Officials are waiting for some paperwork from the aquarium before finalizing the deal, he said. The Georgia Aquarium continues to decline commenting on its intentions to add more whale sharks to its collection.
